As a member-centered company, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and connected community. And that commitment is more than our VIP benefits—it’s about supporting local outreach, being good stewards of the environment, and leading by example in how we conduct our business. Here’s how we strive to be a socially responsible company:
FOSTERING INCLUSIVE AND EMPOWERED COMMUNITIES
At YITTY, giving back isn’t a side note—it’s stitched into everything we do. We’re an uplifting and inclusive brand that drives equality across size, body type, ethnicity, gender, age, and ability. We aim to inspire everyone to feel their best– confident, stylish, and ready for anything. Our mission is personal and collective, and we’re proud to partner with organizations that help bring it to life every single day.
Through strategic community partnerships, we harness fashion's power to create meaningful change. We're proud to support organizations that align with our values—from empowering women with the Downtown Women's Center and Young Survival Coalition, to advancing health equity with Stand Up 2 Cancer, to fostering mental health support through the Loveland Foundation. Our enduring partnership with the LA LGBT Center exemplifies our commitment to sustained progress. Each collaboration represents another thread in our mission to make fashion a transformative force for good.
Safeguarding the environment
We’re focused on reducing our environmental impact across every part of the business—from sourcing to packaging—and work with leading mills to prioritize eco-conscious fabrics wherever possible. To minimize waste, we’ve eliminated unnecessary plastic where we can. Our mailers are made with 90% post-consumer recycled content, and both our polybags and boxes are crafted from 100% recycled materials.
Below are two standout programs helping us move toward a lower-impact future.
CarbonNeutral®
We achieved CarbonNeutral® company certification in accordance with The CarbonNeutral Protocol, the leading global framework for carbon neutrality. To achieve CarbonNeutral certification we reduce our emissions as much as possible across our offices, fulfillment centers, supply chain and retail stores. We then compensate for unavoidable emissions by offsetting them through projects which reduce the equivalent amount of CO2.
thredUp
Through our partnership with one of the world’s largest online thrift stores, we’re making it easier to recirculate pre-loved clothing and reduce environmental impact.
Ethical Sourcing
As part of our commitment to our communities and sustainability, we demand the highest standards from our suppliers to ensure we’re safeguarding worker’s rights and the environment across our footprint. All our vendors and manufacturers must commit to complying with our social and ethical compliance policies, many of which are drawn from the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) and International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions, the principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the 12 principles of the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (“WRAP”) standards.
These values are formalized in our Ethical Sourcing Code, which all our vendors must agree to and continuously meet to manufacture any of our products. Click the links to learn more about our Ethical Sourcing Code and Human Rights Policy.
